In Turkey, carpets are mainly made by the women living in the mountain and forest villages. The soil on which these people of nomadic background live is not suitable for agriculture, so carpet weaving is their main source of income.

The women do everything with their hands, cleaning and spinning the wool from their own sheep, dyeing the yarn with home made vegetables dyes. Then they weave the carpets as they saw their mothers and grandmothers do it with the centuries old patterns, but also putting something of their own soul into it.

Unfortunately this art is slowly dying out where economic development is progressing. Our Company believes that this national heritage must survive. Therefore our organisation participates throughout Turkey in all stages of carpet making from "sheep to shop".

Only 5 % of the world production is woven in Turkey and this percantage is diminishing every day. So , it is clear that it is profitable to invest in Turkish Carpets.

Our group has 4000 looms producing rugs with selected designs. We also collect rugs from all over Turkey which are woven to the weavers own tradition.

When a carpet is taken from loom, there are several processes it must go through, such as washing, sun-testing, levelling etc. All this is done at our own establishment situated in the heart of the carpet production area,and we present the carpet to you in a finished condition.
